Only download this patch if you have version 4.x –

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL ON ANY VERSION 5.

InventoryControl v 4.3 patch fixes the following problems:

1) All reports will crash on certain Windows Vista operating system, and forcibly shut down application.
2) In case there are more than 10 site/location entries in the recent value table, there is a logic error to populate the Unique List. Error: outside of boundary
3) Modified Received Units by Supplier report to use default system currency symbol
4) Fix a bug that supplier's fax number is saved as contact's cell number

How to apply the patch:

InventoryControl Standard or Professional: On each of the client machine, run the patch program. It should bring the programs to the latest. On the database server, if only database is installed, there is no need to run the patch, since the database is updated with one of the client machine patching. If the programs also reside on the database server, then shall run the patch program on database server too.

 

InventoryControl Enterprise: If you have Enterprise edition, please download the enterprise db installer and run it on your database server.

 

 

InventoryControl v 4.2

InventoryControl v 4.2 patch fixes the following problems:

1) Added two new application options to support SSL so that user can use Gmail smtp server to send out mail from this app.
2) Pick Order report now lists  all locations (up to 10) with non-zero qty inventory to make picking at the warehouse easier.
3) In the pocket pc program, if an item doesn't have primary location set up, the focus skips location field and lands in the next field after scanning in the site.
4) If a min/max stock level entry is deleted from [location Settings] tab. it never shows that entry again even as we move or add/adjust/audit new inventory into that location.
5) On [location Settings] tab of the Edit Item screen, if a row has inventory count, it doesn't give any message on failed to delete.
6) The Inventory By Location Report filter field combobox has duplicate items listed
7) In the pocket pc program, after process the step of 'Get Data From', can't log in to device any more

 

 

InventoryControl v 4.1

InventoryControl v 4.1 patch fixes the following problems:

1) A general menu named [Reset All Grid Settings] is added to the main window under Tools to allow user to reset grid settings for all grids.
2) [Reset Grid Setting] menu is added to the transaction list form.
3) Transaction List shows record(s) in red and bold fonts.  If transaction list has more than the max limit of records, subsequent opening the transaction list would list all records in red and bold fonts.
4) Audit backup should go to the same directory as regular back up. They are now backed up to the Microsoft SQL Server default backup directory.
5) The installer should tell download user to get ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center from Microsoft web site.
6) Mobile database filter sometimes displays sql error and fails to generate the mobile database.
7) Set database option to "Truncate log" after creating/upgrading database.
8) UK License Agreement is in French when installing on a UK operating system.
9) UK installer installs US version of Readme file.
10) Pick Order shows primary location for the item.
11) Upgrading from MobileInventory 3.7 may run into a sql error: "Cannot insert value NULL into column 'uom-code' Insert Fails"
12) Item Location Settings - User should not be able to change the site or location once they had inventory/active transactions in that location.


InventoryControl v 4.1 patch adds the following features:

1) Progress dialogs are added to the InventoryControl program on Windows Mobile/CE device when it is processing PC data.
2) Increased software demo period from 10 days to 30 days.
