MobileAsset v 5.2 patch

1) Redesigned and implemented Windows Mobile/CE device synchronization process instead of relying on ActiveSync File Sync.
2) Supports Windows Vista operating system.
3) Increased software demo period from 10 days to 30 days.
4) Last Audit Date is added to the asset list.
5) A general menu named [Reset All Grid Settings] is added to the main window under File to allow user to reset grid settings for all grids.
6) Not Audited Assets Report.rpt: add filter by last audit date.
7) On the check in and check out transactions, would like to have it retain the setting to print 1 copy rather than reverting back to 0 each time.
8) Supports Windows Mobile 5 and Windows CE 5.x devices.

1) When importing to either the Item or Asset table, you have the option to map to the Category column, but it does not actually populate with the information that was imported.

2) PC change not automatically synced to PPC.

16) Advanced Find on Warranty Begin Date, Depreciation Begin Date and Purchase Date fields in Asset List doesn't work.

18) User with dispose asset disabled cannot do maintenance on PPC.

19) When performing a Simple Find in the Contracts table I receive an error message and then Mobile Asset crashes and closes.

MobileAsset v 5.1.3 patch

1) On a non-US/UK Operating system, MobileAsset fails to insert the proper parms record to show the Asset Linking tab on WPA206.
Please note that with this patch, there are also changes to the WPA206 program. So after applying the patch, you should re- install mobile program on the WPA206 using the Mobile Device Communication Wizard. The new Mobile Device program version is v 5.12

1) When choosing locations on the mobile data communication wizard, none of the locations were sent to the WPA206.

1) Added menu on each list form to allow reset the grid setting so to fix corrupt UI settings and show customized labels.

MobileAsset v 5.1 patch fixes the following issues found in previous version of v5.x:
1) Various problems with "Software License Report" and "Contracts Report" that show either deleted contracts on the list or inactive Contracts/asset linking
2) Check out receipt got "Ghost" record on it in a multi user environment
3) Deleted location and asset types on PC are not reflected on Pocket PC
4) It takes too long while creating mobile database on a big database and a lot of assets are linked
5) Deleted user cannot be recreated again
6) All pdf files under Documentation on CD are up-to-date as v5
7) Deleted category cannot be recreated
8) Check out due date is not properly saved
9) Cannot export manufacturers
10) Now allows user to delete the files in question when they get "File mismatch" error while loading data into mobile database
11) The background color issue on labels on New/Edit form on WPA206
12) On Enterprise version, disabled Database backup and restore
13) While creating mobile database, if user had selected too many records as filter, application crashes

MobileAsset v 5.0.3 patch

1) After importing Employee, the default work phone doesn't show up.
2) Enlarge the filter field in the find_meta table to 6800 to accomodate a big filter.
3) On Pocket PC, when creating a new asset and other transactions are done in the same session, the transactions are not processed properly.
4) Memory leak problem while repeatedly open asset list form while it contains large amount of data.
5) Grid doesn't export while it is grouped.
6) Importing asset doesn't import category data properly.
7) Modified several database views, stored procedures and reports to speed up the report processing.
8) Contract list doesn't come up after a search.
