
Policy Statement
Wasp Barcode hardware products are warranted to be free of defects and/or flaws
for a period of one year from the data of initial purchase provided the product
remains unmodified and is operated under normal and proper conditions. [Do
we want to modify this statement even further if hardware warranties vary by
product? This statement used to say that All Wasp Barcode Products are warranted
free of defects/flaws for one year. However, software has a different license.]
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement at Wasp Barcode Technologies’ discretion.
Wasp makes every effort to respond to warranty claims within a reasonable
period of time after it has been notified.
The term of the warranty remains one year from the initial purchase date,
not the date of repair or the date of replacement. The warranty applies
to the original owner and does not extend to any product that has been
subject to misuse, neglect, accidental damage, unauthorized repair, or
tampering.
If, however, at any time you are not completely satisfied with any of
our products, simply return them within 30 days of date of purchase, to
the original place of purchase, for a full refund.* All returned
items must be in like-new condition with the original packing and require
a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. If you

*Reseller’s expressed return policy may supersede our own. Please
consult with your reseller concerning its return/refund policy.
No other express warranty is given. The replacement or repair of a product
is your exclusive remedy. Any other implied warranty of merchantability
or fitness is limited to the duration of this written warranty. Some states,
provinces, and countries do not allow how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitation may not apply to you.
In no event shall Wasp Technologies be liable for consequential damages. Some states, provinces, and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Return Policy
Within 30 day of receipt of your order, you may return any item, to
the original place of purchase, for a full refund. All returned

Return Procedures
Damaged Products
Products that arrived damaged should be refused by the recipient and accepted back by the carrier attempting to make the delivery. If a product that has visible damage is accepted, the recipient and the carrier must note visible damage it in order for a damage claim to be filed. Wasp Barcode Technologies must be notified within 2 business days of the damage, and the product must be saved and kept in the original condition in which it was received. In order to receive a replacement product, the recipient must send to Wasp the following documents, postmarked within 5 business days of receipt of the product: a copy of the damage notification document from the carrier and the signature of the receiver.
Defective on Arrival / Defective Products Returns
The reseller or consumer bear sole responsibility to notify Wasp Barcode
Technologies of any product that they receive that is defective on arrival
(e.g., the product has no power). Notification should be made within
30 days of receipt of the product. Wasp Barcode Technologies requires
that all DOA products be returned directly for replacement. Monetary
refunds, product exchanges, or product upgrades/down grades will be handled
through the reseller or distributor of purchase.
