The
SATO CL4NX universal industrial thermal barcode printer aims to provide a feature-packed solution that can be easily used by just about anyone.
The SATO CL4NX industrial barcode printer can support both new and legacy printing applications across a wide range of vertical industries.
The first universal industrial thermal printer, the SATO CL4NX can support both new and legacy printing applications across a wide range of vertical industries, including challenging environments such as:
- Supply chain and logistics
Speaking your language
A 3.5-inch full-color LCD screen offers clear and crisp images, such as real-time messaging on the printer’s status. Large enough for easy reading of error messages, the screen also provides built-in video tutorials in 30 user-selectable languages. Setup is simple, with user-friendly icons and setup performed from the front panel of the printer.
The SATO CL4NX industrial barcode printer is built to withstand the demands of rigorous environments, with aluminum die-cast construction. Maintenance is easy for casual users, thanks to replacement of both print head and platen roller without the need for tools. In addition, the print head opens at a 60-degree angle, allowing for easier access and faster maintenance when the media sensor and other components must be reached.
Printing with precision
In addition, the SATO CL4NX industrial barcode printer offers:
- A compact footprint, thanks to a bi-fold side cover that reduces the overall area required for printer operation by 54 percent compared to competitive models
- Industry-leading throughput with 100 MB of user-accessible memory for storage of formats, large graphics, custom fonts, and other downloads
- Dual CPU architecture that offers overwhelming processing speed, resulting in fastest first label out
- Precise print registration for applications requiring tight imaging tolerances
- Improved darkness range for superior image quality on a myriad of substrates
- An optional ribbon rewinder for demand and batch printing, providing a stable rotation torque that allow for liner and label rewinding up to 600 meters in length
“In 1981, SATO introduced to the world the first thermal-transfer barcode printer (M-2311). Since then, we have always taken pride in setting higher standards of innovation such as the S-type print engines for factory automation,” said Kaz Matsuyama, president and CEO of SATO Holdings Corporation.
“At SATO, our mission is to strive to create new values for our customers and, in today’s world of globalization, ensuring optimum borderless operations is their number one need,” Matsuyama added. “I am confident that this new CL4NX with its truly universal design and unparalleled operability will set a new height of expectation in performance for our customers and partners operating on a global scale. Undoubtedly, it is the best industrial barcode printer SATO has ever developed.”
